About Us
One platform. Headlines, community press releases, and the local weather — independent, ad-light, and built for how the five boroughs actually read the news.
NYMetro 5 aggregates breaking New York headlines from publicly available news RSS feeds. Every headline links directly to the original story on the publisher's site — we never republish or rewrite third-party content.
Local businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies across the five boroughs can publish press releases directly through our API. Releases appear alongside aggregated news, reaching the New York community where they're already reading.
NYMetro 5 is an independent digital publication. We are not affiliated with any broadcast network or media organization.
